A Level Results
A Level Success Celebrated at Our Catholic Sixth Form College
Students at our Catholic Sixth Form College are celebrating another excellent set of A Level results, reflecting their hard work, resilience and commitment throughout their studies. Results from our students show excellent achievement across a broad range of subjects, with over three-quarters (75.7%) of all A Level entries awarded grades A* to C and an impressive 98.8% achieving grades A* to E.
Top grades were a particular highlight, with more than one in five A Level entries (22.2%) awarded A* or A grades, while approximately half (47.9%) achieved A* to B.
The outcomes reflect not only academic excellence but also the supportive and nurturing ethos of the college. Of the cohort, 86% achieved three or more A Levels at grades A* to E, providing a strong foundation as students’ progress to university, apprenticeships and employment.
Head of School Amy Bonnington said: “We are immensely proud of our students and delighted to celebrate their achievements. These results are a testament to their determination, the dedication of our staff and the unwavering support of families. As a Catholic community, we value the development of the whole person, and it is wonderful to see our young people rewarded for their efforts. We wish them every success as they take the next exciting step in their journeys.”
Our Director of Sixth Form, Dave Godwin, was also thrilled by the results this year. He said: ”We are so pleased and proud of all our brilliant students. We have had over 10% students achieve a straight set of three or more A*-A grades and this is testament to all their hard work. They have done so well! This has been another record-breaking year in terms of results, and we have had the highest ever proportion of successful Oxbridge applications and those going on to leading universities and apprenticeships.
Congratulations to all our students on their outstanding achievements.
