Oaklands Friends’ and Parents’ Association (OFPA)
The OFPA engage with the school and aim to enhance every student’s experience during their time at Oaklands.
All parents and guardians of our school and college students are welcome to be a part of the OFPA. The committee meets once a month during term time, supported by Sarah Mann, PA to the Headteacher. You are warmly invited to come and join us at any of our monthly meetings in the Sixth Form Common Room.
Our aim is to provide a closer link between school and home so that we can work in partnership and keep parents and guardians updated on matters relating to the school.
- We provide an opportunity for parents/guardians/students to communicate their views e.g. uniform, behavioural policy, etc.
- We provide support and refreshments at school events e.g. Parents’ Evenings, Open and Information Evenings, and Social Events
- Pre-loved Uniform Sales – Please see separate page below for further details and prices
- Money raised by the OFPA helps fund projects across all year groups and departments of the school so that every student will benefit. For examples of OFPA purchases, click here.
Please support us when you can. Any suggestions and help, however small, are always welcome.
