Dear Parents and Carers

I am writing to confirm that Oaklands Catholic School and Sixth Form College will be closed on Monday 19 September 2022.  This has been announced as a Bank Holiday for the state funeral of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

I also want to add a gentle reminder that during this period of national mourning we will expect students to attend school as normal (other than on the Bank Holiday on Monday 19 September).

If your child is unable to attend school for any reason, please follow our normal procedures for notifying the school of their absence.
