Pastoral Support Worker (for September 2018)
The governors are seeking to appoint a Pastoral Support Worker to join our hardworking, committed and enthusiastic team. This position is a pivotal part of the delivery and support of the curriculum to enable the high standard of teaching and learning in the School and Sixth Form College. The successful candidate will be responsible for the provision of pastoral and welfare support for students. This role will require the successful candidate to liaise with Heads of Year, Head / Deputies / SLT and SENCo, teaching staff and relevant non-teaching support staff, LA representatives, external agencies and parents to encourage acceptable standards of attendance, punctuality and behaviour in all aspects of school life.
The successful candidate will assist in keeping parents informed of students’ welfare and respond as necessary to parent concerns.
