Support Staff


Part-time Learning Support Assistant
 
The governors are seeking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to join our hardworking, committed and enthusiastic team. This position is a pivotal part of the delivery and support of the curriculum to enable the high standard of teaching and learning in the School. The successful candidate will provide a range of services to support the students with Special Educational Needs. This role will require the successful candidate to liaise with the Teachers and Heads of Department as well as other members of the support staff. The successful candidate will ideally have knowledge of the curriculum and experience of working within the academy school environment.

Full-time Site Assistant

The governors are seeking to appoint a Site Assistant to join our hardworking, committed and enthusiastic team. We are looking for a confident and organised person with experience of working in a similar role or setting.  

The successful candidate will play a very important role in providing site services to support the teaching and learning of the school and play an essential part in the smooth running of the School site. The successful candidate will ideally have experience of working within the school environment although this is not essential. Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation, along with good communication skills are an important part of this role. The successful applicant will be highly organised and possess good interpersonal skills.

Oaklands is a very successful school described by Ofsted as “a very good school, which gives good Christian teaching as well as being a good school academically”.

OCS provides a supportive environment and induction programme for all new staff and is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. The school is always looking to appoint high quality staff. Shortage subjects include Science (Physics Chemistry and Biology), Maths and MFL.
